Amy works closely with students and parents on a variety of school and family matters. She is known for her proactive approach to counseling children in the elementary grades, ages 5-10. Amy believes that, if parents follow a set of simple, practical, specific guidelines, they can create more harmonious family relationships. Amy’s 16 years of elementary school experience, as both a counselor and a learning specialist, have provided her with thousands of successful teachable moments, in settings ranging from Manhattan and Rome, Italy to the suburbs of Rockland County, New York. Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary and Special Education, and a Master of Arts degree in School Counseling and Personnel Services. She is certified in the State of New York. |
